Read:Outloud is the only text reader that supports students with modelling, scaffolding and practice of research-based reading strategies to comprehend any text across the curriculum. In addition to being exposed to their grade-level curriculum, students have all the resources available to build good reading habits.

Teachers combine Supported Reading Guides with appropriate eText to structure the reading process. Tools such as eHighlighters™ help extract key information; electronic notes help make text-to-self connections; auditory feedback encourages re-reading. Student progress is easily assessed when teachers use students' completed outlines to review their work.
