This new portable and affordable digital audio book player reads your downloaded text files to help you increase your reading speed, comprehension and vocabulary, wherever you go.

The ClassMate Reader is ideal for people with dyslexia, those learning to read, either at primary level or anyone learning English as a second language and struggling readers.

The ClassMate reads aloud and simultaneously displays and highlights text on its full colour screen. Its simple, flexible interface can be configured to the user�s specific needs; font type, text size, colour and line spacing can all be changed.

It includes helpful study tools to enhance learning such as bookmarks, recording, highlighting function and a speaking dictionary. The dictionary contains 25,000 UK words.

With built-in text-to-speech, you can download your own TXT files or DAISY files and have them read aloud. The files can be downloaded from a computer or from a thumbdrive using the connector lead which is provided. It will also read files from SD (Secure Digital) cards up to 2GB and SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards of 4GB or higher.

This multisensory approach using both sight and sound enhances the learning process of reading and comprehension.
