ClaroRead Plus 2008 is a toolbar to support reading, writing and proof reading.

ClaroRead Plus 2008 provides a comprehensive toolbar for those users who need additional support with reading, writing and particularly proof reading. By pulling on features built in to Microsoft Office it offers the highest quality writing support but with simplified, easy-to-use dialogue boxes and menus. ClaroRead's discreet toolbar sits at the top of your active window making it simple and easy to access at any time.

ClaroRead Plus 2008 has the high quality RealSpeak Jane, Emily, Daniel, Indian English Sangeeta and new voice Serena voices built in for reading back anything on the PC. It also contains word prediction, a talking calculator, and a simple but comprehensive text "Check" function for checking spelling, grammar and homophones. Viewing is made clearer by the easy to use controls for font, text size, line spacing and colouring.

ClaroRead Plus 2008 works alongside Dragon dictation software, echoing spoken text and contains OmniPage 15 scan and optical character recognition for turning paper and PDF files into editable, speaking Word documents. The innovative new Screen Ruler program is also included, which helps a user focus on the horizontal viewing "strip" across the PC screen.

ClaroView is included and will work with any piece of software, as it acts as an "overlay" on the PC screen. With ClaroView, you can change the colour of the overlay from the whole colour spectrum. You can also then adjust the tint level to make it brighter or darker. As users have different visual preferences, ClaroView allows you to set the colour of the overlay. These colour settings will be retained. There is a single button to reset the colour to your standard display settings.
