BETT 2010

BETT is the world’s leading educational ICT event held at Olympia in London. The event brings together the global teaching and learning community for four days of innovation and inspirations between 13th and 16th January.
iansyst will be exhibiting a range of assistive technology on stand F119.
iansyst will be showcasing Oribi VeritySpell, a software package developed to assist those who struggle with spelling, grammar or just finding the right word when writing. Ideal for people with dyslexia, however it is suitable for anyone wanting to compose well-written, accurate and proficient documents or emails but find standard spell checkers insufficient.
As previously mentioned in last month’s Newsletter CapturaTalk has recently won the Handheld Learning Award for Innovation 2009 (SEN and Inclusion), it should also be noted that Version 3 will be demonstrated at BETT. This version includes improvements to the PDF Reading capabilities; 5 Mega pixel camera support; the optical character recognition – Abbyy OCR Engine 3.0 and more…
In addition there will be many other products available to view including the latest version of MindGenius, the innovative Livescribe Pen, Speech Recognition software and Audio Notetaker.
