This is a phonics based program which is fun to use and easy to navigate around! For me, it ticks all the boxes for a good literacy teaching scheme for students with dyslexia i.e. highly structured, cumulative and multi sensory.

The software contains a wealth of resources within the 10 colour coded levels (islands), including games and activities (these are PDF files that can be printed off) to 20 captivating computerised games.

The initial placement tests for reading and spelling together with record sheets make this a valuable part of the students IEP and the integrated record keeping is really useful for group monitoring. Students are encouraged to mark their own work and take on more responsibility for their own learning through playing games, watching rules and completing interactive worksheets. Their efforts are rewarded with Nessy Nuggets, which can be used at an interactive Fairground.

I haven't come across a school yet that doesn't speak highly of this software.
