Case Study - Tony

Background

Tony is in Year 10 in a mainstream comprehensive school. He is in the bottom set for all subjects except Maths (Set 1) due to his consistent and often extreme challenging behaviour. He enjoys Maths, Drama, his lessons within the Learning Support Base and using the computer.

Recommended Software/Hardware

‘Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred’ together with the ‘Andrea mic’ to assist Tony with his written work. This software will enable him to dictate his ideas into the computer and see his spoken words appear on the screen . Tony will be able to make use of his good oral skills thus his work should now reflect his true ability.
